Getting Started
1. Orientation is Sunday, August 21, at 2 pm.
It is imperative that parents attend orientation. Your child will want to come also. The Academy will open on Monday, August 22, at 8:30 am.
School Hours:
(K4 – K5 grade) 8:30 am – 2:00 pm
(1st – 4th grade) 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
(5th – 12th grade) 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
2. A certified birth certificate and current immunization records must be submitted to the child’s teacher by orientation in order for your child to attend classes.
Also, a recent physical on file must be submitted to the school by September 3.
3. Children should bring the following items to class:
Kindergarten through Sixth Grade:
- school pencil box (plastic)
- back pack (locker size)
- two boxes of tissues
- one package of children’s stickers
- 2 pocket folders
- two packs of baby wipes
- one 12 oz. bottle of anti-bacterial hand gel
- King James Bible
- notebook paper
- one box of crayons (24 count)
- #2 pencils
- Steno Pad
Seventh through Twelfth Grade:
- King James Bible
- highlighters
- black/blue pens
- 3×5 index cards
- assignment notebook
- protractor
- notebook for chapel notes
- loose-leaf paper (spiral books may not be used for tear-out work)
- two boxes of tissues
- #2 pencils
- folder for each class
- 4×6 index cards
- compass
- ruler
4. K4 students need to bring a sheet (twin size) and a small blanket for nap time. These will be sent home each Friday, and brought back on Monday. Also, a change of clothes should be left at the school.
5. Elementary Dress Code for Girls: 
Knee-length style “French Toast” jumpers with a red, white, or light blue polo style shirt or buttoned-up blouse. Jumpers may be purchased from french toast.com. Size 4-14 are items #1046B/G khaki or blue, and item#1047B/G blue/gold plaid or blue/red plaid. Last year’s uniforms may be used as long as they meet dress code length. Beginning with fourth grade, girls may wear khaki or navy skirts item #1268B/G or #1373B/G. In winter a matching sweater may be worn. A mary-jane style shoe is required. No tennis shoes.
Elementary Dress Code Boys: Khaki or navy blue pants, with a red, white, or light blue polo style shirt or buttoned up dress shirt. Shirts must be tucked in at all times and a belt worn. A boat style shoe is required. No tennis shoes.
6. The student/activity and book usage fee is $225.00. If you have not paid this fee, it is due immediately to secure your child’s books and supplies.
7. August Tuition is due on August 1st.
